Eli's Lids was started by Kara-Noel Lawson in 2006. Her inspiration came when she realized she was having a baby boy!
"I quickly discovered that baby boys get the short end of the stick when it comes to fashion and style. While moms of little girls get to adorn their daughters with baubles, bows, flowers and jewels, moms of little boys are left with powder blue puppies…ug! I searched and searched for hats, clothes, blankets, bibs...ANYTHING that would fit my family's style. My search resulted in styles that were cute, but way out of my price range. Not one to settle, I began developing my line, starting at the top with Lids! After multiple prototypes I came up with Lids for today’s hip baby."
"Whether your son is a surfer, skater, snowboarder or just plain rocks, I have created a Lid that will reflect your family's style without looking too (for lack of a better word) baby!"

She now has a new, sweet inspiration. Her daughter Cora! I love Eli's Lids for girls! Kara-Noel was so sweet to have us review her line of "Tomboy Lids". My little girls are very "pink" yet Tabitha picked out (my favorite) the Black reversible Lid. She then chose the Brown Lid for her sister. My girls LOVE their Lids! Sophie won't take hers off and has informed us not to touch her "Lid". She wasn't too happy when I tried it on!

Eli's Lids are available for infants size 0-1(infants/todddlers) and kids 1-5 but don't let that fool ya- Pick one up for your boy or girl age 6-uh well through 30,40 (or your baby too)...... My girls have huge heads and the Lid fits perfectly. It is snug enough and stretchy. This hat will grow with your child. Kara-Noel, you have designed a truly sustainable hat (wink).
