A Christmas without plastic cling wrap?

I'm taking the Crunchy Domestic challenge. How about you? Click on over to her site and read the stats on plastic and the environment. It's alarming. I don't use plastic bags for shopping and I recycle but there's more too it then that. Think about how much plastic is in your house. I have fallen game to the dollar store in the past. Our house is filled with cheap, plastic sippy cups and plates. I plan to recycle them and replace with one nice , eco-friendly version.

Amy doesn't give us a challenge without giving us helpful tips and tricks. Here's what she has to say....

"Of course I’m not going to tell you, “Plastic is everywhere” and then say “Don’t buy it!” without giving you some suggestions on how you can avoid it, because I try to be helpful like that. Here are several suggestions to help you with this challenge."

click here to read her tips and have a more eco-friendly,safe, plastic free holiday!
