Trumpet

trumpet.jpg

Daffodils are the trumpets proclaiming the coming of Spring (which you can only appreciate if you have endured a terrible, cold winter that feels like it will never end...)

Spring?! I had no idea it was spring. We just got 20 inches of snow! Thanks for reminding me.

I'm breathless. I live in a part of the country where winter passes by quickly, so I don't have the same yearn for spring that others do. However, I am so ready for green grass and buds on trees that I might weep when they appear.

Such beautiful color. Very nice capture and one that I needed to brighten a not-going-so-smoothly-day. :)

Daffodils are my VERY favorite flower. I love the words you included with your photo...as if everyone is waking up to the sound of the daffodils proclaiming spring! Lovely.
BTW, long ago, the daughter and I used to read Guess How Much I love you by: Sam McBratney...and every day before I left for work, she would look out the window and say to me (on the phone) "I love you to the moon and back..." your title reminds me of that! Sweet...

I have all of one daffodil in my yard, but I was very glad to see it. I'm ready for some warm weather!
