Spring Cleaning - a clean, green spring

spring%20cleaning.jpgI must admit......

When first purchasing organic household cleansers four years ago I had a scientific method for choosing a brand...How did I choose a brand, you ask? Well, I bought the cheapest! Yes, most of the time when purchasing organic household goods, I go with the sale item. This keeps me from being able to use the excuse, organic cleansers are just too expensive. free%20and%20clear.jpgMy first purchase was Seventh Generation's free and clear. I have tried other organic products but I love this one the best!! They continue, in my opinion to be the best buy when going organic. There is nothing fancy about their product but it does work well! They have recently added a lavender and mint option to many of their products if you're looking for something that smells like spring and cleans! Now don't get me wrong.....I love supporting my local organic stores by purchasing fresh fruits, veggies and dairy and I don't mind paying more for something that works well and will make my life easier and not make my planet worse. The tough part about cleaning products is that we all use up these products SO quickly!! It's nice when we can get a bit more for our money!!

So you can imagine how excited I was when I noticed that my favorite organic cleanser just got even cheaper! If you want to stock up, Purchase Seventh Generation on Amazon.com and receive free shipping. So I believe it holds true.....if more of us purchase organic products, the price will eventually go down. I can tell you that in the state of CA; prices for organic have gone down in the past four years. This is good news for our families and our environment!

visit the Seventh Generation blog for coupons and more info on organic cleansers!
