Tummy Time Tips

Today I'm focusing on the need for tummy time. With the back to sleep campaign we sometimes neglect time on the tummy during the day for our babies.
It's
Organic Nesting Pillow important to acclimate your infant to this position as early in life as possible. Right from the start, following a nap or diaper change, two to three times a day, you should place him on his tummy for a brief playperiod. You can gradually increase the length of these periods as your baby becomes used to them. Also, whenever possible, lie on your back and place your baby facedown on your chest. This not only helps him adapt to this position but will also give him a reason to lift his head – to look at you!
Because babies are now spending so much time on their backs, many are experiencing "flat head syndrome"; weak arm, neck, shoulder and trunk muscles; and delays in developmental milestones such as rolling over, crawling, pulling up to stand and walking. Enjoy these moments of quiet alert....look for those giggles as you engage eye to eye.

You are so right, tummy time is very important.
I agree with everything you said.
I've been noticing the problems and delays and I'm experiencing it in my family right now.
The problem is it's so hard to mention it to the parents. I wanna help but don't want for them to think I'm criticising or trying to tell them how to raise their kids.
I wish they knew english so I could send them here! haha
Oh, it's great for the paint children use on their art classes! So, I hope it'll makes your life easier!
Yes, I love natural things. People think I'm odd! hahaha
Hugs!
