Heather had the opprotunity to meet the wonderful people at Charity Water.org during a business plan competition. The opprotunity to be in the midst of organizations doing so much for the world around us was such a joy.
Scott at Charity Water is turning 33 this year and is encouraging us all to join in on his party,

We need your birthday. Help us build wells by asking your friends and family for dollars instead of gifts this year. You can create a personal birthday page here and get the word out to your relatives and friends! We'll keep a running total of your donations and 100% of the money will build wells in Ethiopia.

Help us spread the word to your network. Let your friends know about september by putting a badge or banner on your page. Grab some charity: water flyers, a DVD and hold a screening. You can do it in your local church or high school, restaurant or even in your living room.

What if your birthday is in September and you would rather actually have GIFTS!! LOL!!! Just kidding, how horrible am I? We would love to have a Tabi, Sophie & Leila playdate soon. Would you be up for it? Once my hubs goes back to work (will that be ever?! haha-- love him to bits), we can have you over. Till then...let's meet somewhere. Meanwhile, I'm trying to think of people to invite to my Artistry party and am feeling guilty for not yet ordering but am a little financially tied with one of our properties vacant (but God is in control). Sorry for the crazy ramblings. Tee hee.
