Luck of the Irish~ Blessed Nest Blissfully domestic

Blessed Nest is a going Blissfully Domestic on Tuesdays. Heather is very blissfully domestic and Donna well she tries....we love the gals at Blissfully Domestic so thought we would join in on some domestic fun!

We at Blessed Nest have been through the wringer this past year. We won't get into the drama ( CPSIA, Donna sold her house, Heather moved from Brooklyn, NY to Kansas...and on and on)  let's just say, we need a little bit of the luck of the Irish.

The Luck of the Irish:

"The saying refers to the fact that the Irish people have come through such overwhelming adversity and have come out on top and kicking! It must be luck... or true perseverance."

Today I'm Blissfully Domestic ~ because I have Blissfull Kids ( sometimes)

Rainbows represent new beginnings. What better way to celebrate our Blessed New ( Irish) Year then to make cotton, rainbows with my kids?  When I'm not pushing pillows ,I'm homeschooling my two little loves ages 3 and 6. We are craft queens.

I teach reading, math etc doing craft projects. I love this age when creativity is innocent and math is fun! Sophie can do her math and colors while making her rainbow of love and Tabitha will learn the story of the rainbow and the luck of the Irish.

Please visit our domestic perch again! I promise to be more blissful and more domestic or I'll at least make Heather ( the creative genius in the family) write this post next week.

To all our faithful friends and readers..pop on over and see how many amazing women really are Blissfully Domestic!

Irish luck and love to the moon and back~

ps~ take a look at Heathers favorite rainbow picture

Very cute idea! Love it. I'm inspired to be more 'crafty'. We made snakes out of play dough today -- does that count??

What a clever craft! I think my 4 year old would love to make this. Thanks for the idea! And thank you for sharing at ‘I Am Blissfully Domestic!’

Thanks for this post, Donna.... and for reminding me of the hope that rainbows point to. I wanted to share my favorite rainbow picture (I am amazed at how many I have), from one of the new beginnings with someone else I love unendingly... http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_6_mUGKlWh4c/SVkN0Ovn9PI/AAAAAAAABEc/teRVX0ClkyE/s1600-h/texas+rainbow.jpg

I am blissfully lucky! My sweet Heather is here, visiting me in my home. How lucky I am to have a sister so great! And we're not even really Irish.
